History before the establishment of the company

Sano Maruka Shoten, the predecessor of Envipro Holdings Inc., was established in March 1950 by Katsuyoshi Sano (the father of Tomikazu Sano, Representative Director of Envipro Holdings Inc.) as a ferrous scrap wholesaler in Yodogawa-cho, Fujinomiya-shi, Shizuoka.

In July 1978, it transformed into a joint-stock company with the aim of strengthening its management base, and in July 2010, became a pure holding company.
Following the transition to a pure holding company, it was listed on the Second Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange in September 2013 and the First Section in June 2018.

The following is its history since its reorganization into a joint-stock company in July 1978.

Establishment~1990s

1978 Jul Reorganized into SANO MARUKA SHOTEN Co., Ltd. with capital of 20 million yen.
1992 Aug Launched a trading business in Yamamiya,Fujinomiya-shi, Shizuoka.
1995 Jul established a stock yard of ferrous scrap in Fuji-shi, Shizuoka.
1997 Jun Installed a large shredding machine in the factory at head office.
Oct established a non-ferrous manufacture plant in Yamamiya,Fujinomiya-shi,Shizuoka.
1998 May Launched car recycling business in Yamamiya,Fujinomiya-shi, Shizuoka.

2000s~

2000 Apr Established Fuji Eco Cycle Co., Ltd. as a joint venture with FUJITSU GENERAL LIMITED in Yamamiya,Fujinomiya-shi, Shizuoka.
Jul Renamed the company from SANO MARUKA SHOTEN Co., Ltd. to SANO MARUKA Co., Ltd.
2001 Apr FUJI ECO CYCLE Co.,Ltd. built a household electric appliances recycling plant in Yamamiya,Fujinomiya-shi,Shizuoka.
Jul Launched a plastic recycling business.
Aug Established an RPF factory (Refuse Paper and Plastic Fuel production factory)in Yamamiya,Fujinomiya-shi, Shizuoka.
2003 Jun Opened a plastic recycling plant in Yamamiya,Fujinomiya-shi, Shizuoka.
Dec Established ARBIZ Corporation as a joint venture with USS.
2004 Nov Authorized by the Minister as a resource recovery plant for automobile shredder residue pursuant to the Act on Recycling, etc. of End-of-Life Vehicles.
2006 Jul Established 3WM Co.,Ltd.through aiming at exporting used cars and parts of used cars.
2007 Jul Renamed the company from SANO MARUKA Co., Ltd. To ECONECOL Inc.
2008 Feb 3WM Co., Ltd. established JAPAN COAST USED CARS AND SPARE PARTS TRADING (UAE).
Jun Acquired a 100% stake in KURODA RECYCLE Co., Ltd., making it a subsidiary.
Jun 3WM Co., Ltd. established 3WM CHILE IMPORT EXPORT LIMITADA (Chile).

History after the establishment of the company

2010~2015

2010 May To transition into a pure holding company, established ECONECOL HOLDINGS Inc. (Present ENVIPRO HOLDINGS Inc.).
Jul Renamed the company from ECONECOL HOLDINGS Inc. to ENVIPRO HOLDINGS Inc.
2011 Apr Acquired a 100% stake in Recycle Support Service LLC. (Present SYN ECO Inc.), making it a subsidiary.
Jul Updated on a large shredding facility of KURODA RECYCLE Co.,Ltd.
2012 May 3WM Co., Ltd. established 3WM UGANDA LIMITED (Uganda).
2013 Sep Listed on the Second Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
Dec Established ECOMMIT Inc. (Present ASTOCO Inc.),for the purpose of providing welfare services for people with disabilities through Resource Circulating Business.
2015 Feb ECONECOL Inc. established a Representative Office in H.C.M.C of Vietnam.
Dec Acquired a 100% stake in TOYO RUBBER CHIP Co., Ltd., and making it a subsidiary, that is engaged in the recycling of waste rubber and the manufacture and sale of rubber products.

2016~Present

2016 Apr Established Bright Innovation Co.,Ltd. through aiming at developping a consulting business centered on environmental and social innovation.
Oct Renamed ECOMMIT Inc. to ASTOCO Inc.
2017 Apr Invested in MINE BIOMASS SYNERGIES PRIVATED LIMITED (Singapore) for the stable procurement of wood biomass fuel.
Jul Established P2P Inc. through a joint venture aiming at producing and selling recycled plastics.
Sep Transitioned to a company with an audit and supervisory committee.
2018 Jan Established VOLTA Inc.through aiming at recycling lithium-ion-batteries and collecting useful metals.
Jun Listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
2020 Apr Established NEWSCON Inc. that taking over Global Resource Circulation Business of ECONECOL Inc. through aiming at accelerating oversea strategy.
2021 Sep ASTOCO Inc. relocated the head office.
Oct ECONECOL Inc. acquired a 100% stake in Fujimi BMS Co., Ltd. (currently ECONECOL Inc. Wood Recycling Center), a wood recycling company, and made it a sub-subsidiary.
2022 Mar Subsidiary ECONECOL Inc. absorbed sub-subsidiary Fujimi BMS Co., Ltd. (currently ECONECOL Inc. Wood Recycling Center).
Apr Transitioned to the Tokyo Stock Exchange Prime Market following the restructuring of the Tokyo Stock Exchange Market.
Jul VOLTA Inc. relocated the head office to Fuji-shi, Shizuoka.
Sep Established CYTERRACE Co., Ltd. that taking over the logistics agency service business of 3WM Co., Ltd. through aiming at accelerating oversea strategy.
Dec NEWSCON Inc. relocated the head office to Chuo-ku, Tokyo.
2023 Jan The logistics agency service business of 3WM Co., Ltd. was merged into CYTERRACE Co., Ltd..
Feb ECONECOL Inc. established a Fuji plant in Fuji-shi, Shizuoka
Apr Acquired 83.71% share of Nitto Kako Co., Ltd. which is engaged in the manufacture and sale of industrial rubber products and resin products and made it a subsidiary.
May NEWSCON Inc. established the Netherlands branch.
Jun The ratio of voting rights in Nitto Kako Co., Ltd. was made 100.0% through a reverse stock split.
